What Does “Support at Home” Actually Mean?
Support at Home is the Australian Government's home care program (replacing the old Home Care Packages system) for older Australians who want to stay independent at home rather than move into residential aged care. It funds a mix of personal care, domestic assistance, social support, and — where Care N Cure is involved — nurse-led clinical oversight on top of the everyday support.
This is where we differ from most Support at Home providers: your support isn't just a roster of support workers ticking off tasks. It's coordinated by a Registered Nurse who checks in, monitors changes in health, and flags concerns before they become hospital visits. We provide clinical guidance and home care visits throughout the metropolitan area, including Canning Vale and Gosnells.

Is Support at Home the same as a Home Care Package?

Yes, through My Aged Care. We can guide you through this process at no cost, or support you if you're already assessed and looking for a new provider.
